LG oven - the first ever built-in oven by LG Appliances
The first-ever built-in LG ovens, both single and double oven models will be coming in stores near you in October 2008. Main features include large 4.7 cu. ft. capacity, intuitive 7" LCD touch screen unique for LG Appliances, pre-loaded gourmet recipe bank for 10 food categories, premium stainless steel finish along with a brilliant blue interior cavity for stylish and elegant look, halogen interior lamps and smooth gliding rack. Each oven will also feature LG exclusive convection system, which enables up to 30 percent faster preheat times and more even heat distribution. The double oven will be priced at $3,400 and the single oven at $2,200. Previously, new LG appliances for 2008.

LG cooktop - 36" induction cooktop
The new 36" LG cooktop will be available in a fall. This induction cooktop has premium stainless steel trim, framing 5 versatile cooking elements with bridge to accommodate literally all your cooking needs. LG also uses SCHOTT CERAN glass ceramic panels, which is by far the most Eco friendly material for induction and electric cooktops. Other key features are SmoothTouch controls, premium grade griddle, power boost feature for each induction zone, automatic shut off, hot surface indicator and child lock. There is no word on price, but we expect LG suggested price to be around $2,300 USD. See more LG cooktops.

AEG range cookers - 60 cm dual fuel, double oven range
The 60 cm wide, free standing dual fuel AEG range cooker, Competence D77000GF-M offers a lot in a rather slim package, allowing you to cook anything you want fast and economically. The 4-burner gas hob has 2 cast iron pan supports, a simmer, 2 semi-rapid burners and a wok, and comes with glass lid which cuts gas supply off when brought down. Both electric ovens rated 'A' for energy. Main multi function oven has fully programmable timer and offers 8 functions including conventional cooking, fan controlled defrosting, roasting, base heat finishing, pizza setting and grill. The top oven of this dual fuel AEG range has conventional cooking, variable economy grill and fast grill functions. Other key features are 24-hour electronic clock, minute minder, rotary controls, interior light, Isofront triple glazed door with heat reflective coating, auto-stop anti-tip chrome shelves and heat activated catalytic cleaning. With its sleek stainless steel finish the dual fuel, double oven AEG range cooker is priced at around £850.

AEG washing machine - LAVAMAT washer
A sharp looking AEG washing machine designed for a busy consumer, the stainless steel LAVAMAT 74850M washer comes equipped with Silent System Plus and top speed of 1,400 RPM. Rated 'A' for washing performance and 'B' for spin, this AEG washer has an extra wide 30 cm chrome porthole with 165° opening for easy access to the drum. With maximum load of 7 kg you can quickly finish your laundry chores. AEG also equipped this washing machine with Fuzzy Logic load adjustment, out of balance control and Sensortronic foam suppression tools. If the laundry gets out of balance it will be detected and rearranged to ensure minimum wear and tear to the drum bearings. The fuzzy logic also detects if too much detergent was added and adds extra rinses if required. Aqua-Control feature protects you from unpleasant leaks by constantly monitoring internal and external leaks and pumping excessive water out if necessary. Hybrid hood combines extraction with air conditioning
Faber launches new hood and air conditioner combo. Hybrid hood will provide two different functions merged into a single appliance - top notch extraction and powerful air-conditioning. If you think of it, these two completely separate yet very complementary functions should have been combined long ago. Hybrid hood will be capable of cooling, heating and effectively cleaning up the air in a 40 square meter kitchen. Equipped with special filters, it will purify the air. The hood comes with the most advanced technology Faber has to offer including:
- comfort panel allows at least 10 changes of air per hour with a noise never exceeding 55 dB(A)
- optimized speed, programmed according to the kitchen size for proper suction capacity
- intensive extraction gets the highest aspiration and after 10 minutes the hood returns at its previous rate
- Key 24 function keeps hood operational for 24 hours for a continuous air replacement at only 28 dB(A)
- shutdown delay, remote control and alarm saturation filters
