Some called the Aqualtis washing machines visionary. Hotpoint, which is a part of Indesit ever growing portfolio, designed these washers around what users demanded from a washing machine. The Aqualtis looks sharp and has a huge, by European standards, 7.5kg capacity to accommodate even more laundry and a large wide opening door making loading easy. It is “A” rated for energy and wash efficiency, and offers several specialist washing programmes to give excellent wash performance every time. Woolmark Platinum Care is a low spin, extra gentle cycle that can carefully handle those “hand wash only” garments, and is endorsed by Woolmark. Duvet Cycle is for duvets, quilts, and anything padded, which you normally would dry-clean. Bed and Bath Cycle can handle your bedding and towels in one load in less than two hours. Shirt Cycle protects colors and fabric, reducing creasing. Mini Load option saves 25% of water and 40% of energy in those cases when your Aqualtis washing machine is half filled. Additionally, there are few other cycles and options, depending on the model. Hotpoint offers four models, AQXXL 129, AQXXF 149, AQXXF 149H and AQXXD 169. The numbers designate maximum spin speed – 1200, 1400 and 1600 RPM respectively, and AQXXF 149H comes with built-in storage drawer. Other differences among these Aqualtis washers include control features and few wash options. The prices are around £270, £305 and £345 respectively. Hotpoint.
