American Range took its Saute /Step-Up cooking ranges one step further with introduction of industry first hybrid range cookers in 24″, 30″ and 36″. The hybrid range combines gas and induction cooking technology in a one freestanding range, providing commercial grade firepower, performance and efficiency with ergonomic functionality. Residential step-up ranges were and still are quite an innovative idea, with American Range being the only brand to my best recollection. Given the popularity of hybrid cooktops, these hybrid range cookers can be a big hit. We are not quite sure on the 24″ and 30″ hybrid models, but the 36″ range comes with 3.4 kW, 2.8 kW and 1.8 kW front induction burners, capable to accommodate 16″ diameter saute pans or stock pots.
