Air King introduced its line of Professional Outdoor Series range hoods for ventilating smoke and odors that can accumulate in covered outdoor kitchens, which have gained in popularity. Outdoor kitchen ventilation can be accomplished by using the outdoor range hoods that are ETL listed for damp locations. These range hoods can be customized to the ventilation needs of the grill with HVI-certified performance options up to 1,200 CFM. Air King offers widths of 36″, 42″ and 48″ to cover typical residential outdoor kitchen needs. For a finished look, matching soffits and backsplashes are also available.

The included dishwasher-safe baffles capture grease and debris and are easy to remove and clean. To illuminate the cooking surface, up to 3 dimmable 45-watt maximum halogen lights are included. An internal thermostat detects when the heat level rises to an excessive amount and will automatically start the hood.
