The new generation of Miele built-in coffee systems, CVA 5000 series will be available to North American consumers in early 2009. With its innovative touch controls Miele takes the guesswork out of making the perfect coffee, latte, cappuccino, espresso and other drinks. The central dispenser is height adjustable to fit espresso cups, tall mugs, decorative glasses for specialty drinks or brew directly into your travel mug. A Miele exclusive integrated 24 oz. tank, made of double-walled stainless steel, keeps milk cool for up to 12 hours and allows one-touch preparation of large quantities of steamed milk and froth drinks. Miele Clean Touch Steel looks sharp, resisting scratches, fingerprints and smudges. With the push a button you will select your coffee or espresso preference, and by pushing another, you can steam the milk, easily making complex layered drinks like latte macchiato. The fifth generation of Miele built-in coffee systems comes with the exclusive swing side door which opens on eye level for unmatched convenience. An automatic conical coffee grinder ensures that coffee beans are ground fresh for every cup. The brewing unit has a dynamic brewing chamber, which size increases as the water flows in. This mixes the coffee powder and water more intensively, resulting in more fully aromatic coffee. A clear text multilingual display with user prompts provides simple and convenient operation. All functions of the fully automatic coffee machine can be set on the display with a light touch on the sensor buttons. Here, it is possible to select the beverage, start preparation or set custom programs such as switch-on and switch-off times, the fineness and quantity of beans to be ground, water hardness, temperature and quantity of milk or water per cup for up to 10 individual connoisseur profiles. What is more, the pre-ground chamber allows to add a portion of a second type of coffee. Two powerful 15 bar pumps, 500g coffee bean container, two stainless-steel heaters, easy to clean.
