As part of its bid to become the green refrigeration brand, the company has improved all under counter refrigerators and larders in its collection to ‘A+’ energy rated. Endorsed by environmental champion, the Energy Saving Trust, these efficient refrigerators are much kinder to the environment than older, less efficient models and are up to £15 a year cheaper to run. Included in the collection are the 50cm wide R5010 and 55cm wide R5510 refrigerators, both of which feature 2 safety glass shelves, a salad drawer, bottle shelf, internal light and a handy, 4-star freezer compartment. Both the R5010 and R5510 are available in either black or white finishes, whilst the R5510 is also available in silver.
Lec L5010 and L5510 under counter larders have also been upgraded to ‘A+’ energy efficiency ratings. The larders feature 3 safety glass shelves, a salad drawer, bottle shelf and internal light and are available in a white finish. The slightly larger L5510 is also available in silver. All under counter products carry the EST Energy Saving Recommended stamp of approval, have ‘A+’ symbols on the facia and an ‘A+’ label for retail display. And because refrigerators are the only appliances that run 24/7, 365 days per year, by switching to ‘A+’ rated products, consumers can benefit from less energy use and very real cost savings on their utility bills.
