The famous and most replicated Jotul wood stove, the Black Bear F 118 CB, which won 2005 Vesta Design and Technology award is better than ever. Going back to its Norwegian roots, the Black Bear combines the simple elegance and utility of the original Model 118 with modern solid fuel combustion technology. Incorporating Jotul new Crossflow non-catalytic secondary combustion system and its front-to-back “cigar burn”, this wood stove is the pinnacle of clean burn efficiency and maximum burn time, assuring minimum emissions and high efficiency. The decorative front plate famously translates – “I built me a flame late one night. When day is done, God will my flame never die out.” The Black Bear wood stove features fully functional polished cookplate, maximum heat output of 55,000 BTU/hr, heating capacity of up to 1,600 sq ft, 73% efficiency and 8 hour burn time. Accessories include fire screen, rear and side heat shield. Jotul. Previously, Jotul decorative wood burning stove and wood stove insert.
