Siemens discControl cooktops

First, Siemens brought us touchSlider cooktops and now the company has taken another bold step with introduction of induction and electric cooktops controlled by magnetic rotary disks. The new Siemens discControl system lets you control cooktops just like your MP3 player – with a slight finger touch to rotate a disk to the desired setting. Once you get there, your finger will feel a slight snap.

Each induction or electric cooktop comes with four round black discs, inserted into a wide, silver metal strip on the front of the hob. Each discControl magnetic disc controls a cooking zone. Easy to clean and also very child-proof – simply remove the disc and put them out of the little fingers reach. Siemens.
